These two are some of my favorites!
I’ve been photographing them for several years and I just adore them and their parents 🙂
This session was from before Christmas (yes, I know, I’ve been slacking on the blog!)

Love, love, love this family!
I’ve known them since I first moved to California.
We’ve spent many camping trips together laughing around the campfire.
I was thrilled when they asked me to take their Holiday portraits!

The G Family have been clients of mine for some time now.
I always look forward to seeing how much the kids have grown.
I was amazed this year to see how grown-up the twins were!
Time flies!

I adore this little family of 4.
I’ve taken their photos several times before and we have fun each and every time!
These photos are from a quick little mini session right before the holidays at the U of R.
It was FREEZING outside so thankfully it was a short one!

I love, love, love this little family.
They are so cute and I can always count on Mom to plan great outfits!
The colors she chose for this shoot were so great.
I loved the way the bright pink added some pop to the photos.
And this little girl was full of smiles, which was a major bonus 🙂

I loved working with this lovely family.
I mean, just take one look and that little boy and your heart melts.
He is too cute for words.

I’m not sure that families get much more beautiful than this one!
Inside and out they are GORGEOUS 🙂
It’s too bad they live so far away, we don’t see their smiling faces as often as we’d like.
One of these days though, we’ll recruit them to Cali!!!

I’ve had the same friends since kindergarten. Â They know me inside and out and can tell what I’m thinking with just one look. Â I’ve come to realize that this isn’t an everyday occurrence. Â That friends simply don’t stay friends that long, but not us, we DO! Â This gal is one of those ladies, sure she didn’t come around until junior high, but that doesn’t make a difference. Â I know that we could go 10 years without seeing each other and when we finally do, it’s like old times, laughing over old memories and catching up on family. Â There is something to be said about friendships like this.
We have moved onto new chapters of our lives, seeing one another become wives and mothers. Â Now she’s off on a new adventure to Boston and we sure are going to miss her!
PS- she’s the super-duper talented lady behind It’s in the Dough cookie company. Â Check her amazing cookies out here
Amanda, you are truly one of a kind and I wish nothing but the best for you, Ryan and Weston in your new hometown! Â Hugs and Kisses!!!

I’m SO excited to finally be sharing this post with you about Becky Hales Photography’s new featured vendor, *lele bug*.  As a newborn and child photographer I’m always looking for unique hats and accessories that compliment my style of photography, and lele bug fits the bill to a T.  The woman behind these amazing creations, Terri (my mom), is insanely talented with both the knitting needles and sewing machine, and as her daughter I am able to reap the benefits 🙂 , lucky me!!  She started with the idea of making hats and ties just for me, but soon came to realize that she wanted to share her creations with the world 🙂 , lucky us!!
She will be accepting special orders starting January 2012 and will be open to regular customers soon after! Â Stay tuned to find out purchasing information.
All of the hats are hand knit using fun, funky and unique yarn. Â The hats that are featured below are all newborn size, but can be ordered in larger sizes for older children.
The ties are a mix of new fabric and vintage ties and are adjustable with a velcro strap.
