While visiting my family in Seattle, I snapped these images of my daughter and nephew.
They are so little and precious, it’s hard to believe that my girl and nephew were ever this small.

I’m SO excited to finally be sharing this post with you about Becky Hales Photography’s new featured vendor, *lele bug*. As a newborn and child photographer I’m always looking for unique hats and accessories that compliment my style of photography, and lele bug fits the bill to a T. The woman behind these amazing creations, Terri (my mom), is insanely talented with both the knitting needles and sewing machine, and as her daughter I am able to reap the benefits 🙂 , lucky me!! She started with the idea of making hats and ties just for me, but soon came to realize that she wanted to share her creations with the world 🙂 , lucky us!!
She will be accepting special orders starting January 2012 and will be open to regular customers soon after! Stay tuned to find out purchasing information.
All of the hats are hand knit using fun, funky and unique yarn. The hats that are featured below are all newborn size, but can be ordered in larger sizes for older children.
The ties are a mix of new fabric and vintage ties and are adjustable with a velcro strap.
I was lucky enough to get to photograph this special family on my last trip to Seattle. I’ve know them since, well, it seems like forever! I grew up with their family and we still all remain great friends all these years later. They are such beautiful people inside and out, and hello…..their kids are to die for!

What a pleasure it was to see this little family again. I photographed their first son as a newborn, then again as a family of three and just recently as a family of four, with the addition of another adorable baby boy!
