*lele bug* | featured vendor

I’m SO excited to finally be sharing this post with you about Becky Hales Photography’s new featured vendor, *lele bug*.  As a newborn and child photographer I’m always looking for unique hats and accessories that compliment my style of photography, and lele bug fits the bill to a T.  The woman behind these amazing creations, Terri (my mom), is insanely talented with both the knitting needles and sewing machine, and as her daughter I am able to reap the benefits 🙂 , lucky me!!  She started with the idea of making hats and ties just for me, but soon came to realize that she wanted to share her creations with the world 🙂 , lucky us!!

She will be accepting special orders starting January 2012 and will be open to regular customers soon after!  Stay tuned to find out purchasing information.

All of the hats are hand knit using fun, funky and unique yarn.  The hats that are featured below are all newborn size, but can be ordered in larger sizes for older children.

The ties are a mix of new fabric and vintage ties and are adjustable with a velcro strap.

sweet charlotte

She was so tiny and sweet, just as you would expect any little girl to be, but there was something a little extra sweet about little Charlotte.  Maybe it was her porcelain skin, or pouty rose-tinted lips, or the fact that she loved to be snuggled.  I’m not exactly sure, but I do know that I enjoyed every moment with her.

I saw her just the other day and she already seemed so big.  I tell all my newborn clients to enjoy each and every moment, even the tedious ones, because they really are only that small for such a short time.  I feel lucky that I get to freeze time for them, so they can always remember what 7 days old looked like.

The blanky that Miss Charlotte is snuggled on was made by her great-grandma, which I’m sure makes this set of photographs that much more special for her family.

little man C

Before I get started talking about the unbelievable cuteness that your about to view, I want to give everyone a few quick Becky Hales Photography updates:

1) Summer is packed.  And when I say ‘packed’ I mean PACKED!  I have a select few dates left in July (weekdays), and August is almost full too.  Please email me ASAP if you want to schedule a summer shoot before the kids go back to school.

2) My travel schedule for the next few months is as follows,

*Seattle- August 6-20 (I only have 1 session available)

*Phoenix/Scottsdale- late September (dates are not yet set in stone)

3) I have had a few people inquire about when to schedule Senior Portraits for 2012 seniors, and the answer is NOW!  The sooner the better 🙂

4) The next Redlands Mini-Session event will take place in September!  If you are interested and not already on the Mini-Session email list, shoot me an email (beckyhalesphotography@live.com) with your info and once the date is secured you’ll be the first to know.

OK, enough with all that businessy stuff, and onto the cuteness…

Meet my little friend C.  He’s an absolute DOLL, and and when you see his parents you know where he gets it.  I was pleasantly surprised when he slept through his entire session, because did I mention that he’s one month old!  Most babies at this age have a harder time staying asleep during the different transitions of a photoshoot.  But, not this little guy.  He slept so peacefully 🙂

Baby Broden

There is nothing more precious and nothing more perfect than the gift a of a sweet new baby, and Broden is that gift to his family.  He was just 1 month old at his session, and let me tell you, he was such a calm and relaxed little man.  This worked in my favor, because he decided not to sleep a wink while I was there!

I’m excited to see little Broden again later this month.
