2012 Pricing

The beginning of this new year brings the opportunity to make some much needed changes for BHP.  I know it seems that every photographer raises rates come January 1, which I didn’t want to partake in this year.  I feel that I’m fairly priced but there were a few things that definitely were NOT working for me over that past year.  The Session fee remains the same; 75 for a standard session and 100 for newborn, and digital file purchase options remain untouched as well, but I have added a minimum purchase requirement of 150 to each session.  This really doesn’t change much since the majority of my clients already meet or exceed the new minimum so you likely won’t even notice a difference.  All of the details are spelled out below!

Happy New Year!

Children, Family

The S Family

I love, love, love this little family.

They are so cute and I can always count on Mom to plan great outfits!

The colors she chose for this shoot were so great.

I loved the way the bright pink added some pop to the photos.

And this little girl was full of smiles, which was a major bonus 🙂

Children, Family

The B Family

I’m not sure that families get much more beautiful than this one!

Inside and out they are GORGEOUS 🙂

It’s too bad they live so far away, we don’t see their smiling faces as often as we’d like.

One of these days though, we’ll recruit them to Cali!!!

Boston Bound…

I’ve had the same friends since kindergarten.  They know me inside and out and can tell what I’m thinking with just one look.  I’ve come to realize that this isn’t an everyday occurrence.   That friends simply don’t stay friends that long, but not us, we DO!  This gal is one of those ladies, sure she didn’t come around until junior high, but that doesn’t make a difference.  I know that we could go 10 years without seeing each other and when we finally do, it’s like old times, laughing over old memories and catching up on family.  There is something to be said about friendships like this.

We have moved onto new chapters of our lives, seeing one another become wives and mothers.  Now she’s off on a new adventure to Boston and we sure are going to miss her!

PS- she’s the super-duper talented lady behind It’s in the Dough cookie company.  Check her amazing cookies out here

Amanda, you are truly one of a kind and I wish nothing but the best for you, Ryan and Weston in your new hometown!  Hugs and Kisses!!!

Featured Vendor, lele bug, Newborn

*lele bug* | featured vendor

I’m SO excited to finally be sharing this post with you about Becky Hales Photography’s new featured vendor, *lele bug*.  As a newborn and child photographer I’m always looking for unique hats and accessories that compliment my style of photography, and lele bug fits the bill to a T.  The woman behind these amazing creations, Terri (my mom), is insanely talented with both the knitting needles and sewing machine, and as her daughter I am able to reap the benefits 🙂 , lucky me!!  She started with the idea of making hats and ties just for me, but soon came to realize that she wanted to share her creations with the world 🙂 , lucky us!!

She will be accepting special orders starting January 2012 and will be open to regular customers soon after!  Stay tuned to find out purchasing information.

All of the hats are hand knit using fun, funky and unique yarn.  The hats that are featured below are all newborn size, but can be ordered in larger sizes for older children.

The ties are a mix of new fabric and vintage ties and are adjustable with a velcro strap.

Engagement

S & G | Engaged!

Be prepared for the cutest couple on the planet!  S and G have been together forever, and are finally tying the knot.  Spending the afternoon with them was so fun, and it was great to see how much they are in love.  You two have something amazing and I can’t wait for the wedding!
